It’s local – from Saint-Meard-de-Gurson. 2001 vintage, 13%. This wine is produced by the Barde family who have been making wine in the Bergerac area since 1610. It’s cheap for a wine which is nearly 10 years old but that shouldn’t put you off. It’s still fruity and very smooth. Excellent value.
