I’m delighted to see that EasyJet has announced that its latest French hub will be based at Bordeaux-Merignac. Three additional Airbus A320s will be based at the airport and they are recruiting 110 new staff.

The good news from our point of view is that in 2018 they will be operating the Liverpool-Bordeaux service throughout spring and summer. There are to be four return flights per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. 

Ryanair will be operating their Tuesdays and Saturdays return services from Liverpool to Bergerac from the end of March to the end of October.

Flybe services from Manchester to Bergerac are not currently listed on their website.

Another option for 2018 is that Jet2 are operating a Saturday morning service from Manchester to Bergerac from 26 May to 22 September.
