Well, things stay very quiet for a while and then there is a glut of new information (further posts to follow).
I’m delighted to report that Le Petit Gurson has a new website – http://www.le-petitgurson.fr/
The new Petit Gurson is, quite simply, the best bar-restaurant around, boasting a beautiful location in the scenic centre of Saint-Martin-de-Gurson. It has ample outdoor areas, including the opportunity to enjoy a few drinks in the shadow of the mairie (town hall) and the new garden area to the rear of the building.
It’s within easy walking distance from the house – just wander up to the village.
There are frequent live music events – for example, this weekend, they have rock and roll band “Whatelse”, as well as quiz nights and they’re showing all the World Cup matches.

There is a wide range of drinks available.
Our wide range of drinks is and offers the perfect accompaniment to a delicious meal, an evening spent with friends, or a celebration. We offer delicious local wines sourced from our vineyards, English craft beers from the English brewer Charlies Wells, premium G&T’s and Fever-Tree Premium Tonic Waters, lagers, refreshing ciders, selection of whiskies and other spirits. You’re sure to find a drink that will go down a treat.
They also have superb coffees from Cafés Richard, using a premium Victoria Arduino espresso machine, as well as English Breakfast, Earl Grey, fruit and herbal teas.
All in all, Le Petit Gurson is now the go to evening destination in the area and it’s about 400 metres from the house. Enjoy!
