We can pass on the apparent recent tenants of Le Petit Gurson because they seem to have gone!

We visited the village last weekend and the Christmas decorations were still present. There is work going on in the square to extend and develop the Salle des Fetes which will presumably include sorting out the tired tarmac immediately outside the Mairie. It’s disappointing that we don’t have a local bar to visit but hopefully that will be sorted out soon.

Personally, I would prefer the bar to be run by someone who is local because that is why we go to France and chose Saint-Martin-de-Gurson as our preferred location. Nonetheless, Saint Martin is a great base for days out and, as I can testify, there’s nothing to prevent you from having parties at the house! I understand that there’s lots of work going on at the Lac de Gurson and we should expect some positive news on that front in the next few months.
