This is a very pleasant surprise. It’s very dry and cost 4.90 euros from Intermarche. The mix is 50% Sémillon, 20% Sauvignon blanc, 20% Sauvignon gris et 10% Muscadelle.

This gets a 5/5 from me because it’s very drinkable and tastes as if it cost at least five times what I paid for it! They’re based in Thenac (south of Ste Foy 28km from the house) so I’m thinking of a visit. They might even displace Chateau Laulerie for my favourite local white wines!
