HOW’S THE HOUSE IN 2008
I hope that people who have previously visited the house will see what a good job has been done by Mick and Mary to make our gardens a treat to be enjoyed. Have a look at the http://www.gurson.co.uk pictures to get an idea of what I mean.
I visited the house with my mum last week and it was great to enjoy a house which ticks all the boxes. The pool was very cold (or so I initially thought!) but when I got in it wasn’t any problem at all – make sure that you post your comment when you make that BIG JUMP!
THE ILLUMINATED POOL
We’ve now sorted out the light underwatwer for the pool. Yes, I know, this probably wasn’t the most important job but, hey ho, it’s been done!!
If you want to light up the pool at night (why wouldn’t you?) then you need to go into the kitchen, turn left through the front door and you’ll see a removable remote control. Go to the pool, point the control at the top end and press “1 or “on”” and the light should come on!
GETTING SKY ON THE TELLY
When you plug in the telly it may take up to 24 hours to get the basic channels. Don’t despair – they will work! Most times, if you put the plug into the wall then, if you wait for a few minutes, you will get a message indicating that it’s searching for channels. Let it go through and it will then sort itself out.
If it doesn’t then let it sort itself out over time. We shouldn’t really have access to Sky in south west France so we have to let it sort itself out!
