I’m in a dilemma. Should I go to Royan (187km 2h):

Or should I go to Arcachon (148km 1hr 40m):

Or then again I might stay by the pool (0km 0m):

Or go to the Lac de Gurson (4km 11m):

What a pleasant dilemma! For visitors to the house it’s worth remembering that if you can put up with a relatively short journeys there are loads of beach options, let alone the beautiful villages, châteaux, wine and history. I think that the racing at Royan swings it.
