From Bergerac airport
- Go to Bergerac
- Take the D936 towards Bordeaux
- Turn right at Gardonne
- Turn left towards Le Fleix
- At Le Fleix turn right towards St Meard de Gurson.
- At St Meard de Gurson continue across junction towards Villefranche de Lonchat
- Turn right towards Carsac de Gurson
- Continue through Carsac de Gurson
- Arrive at St-Martin-de-Gurson
By car from the UK
- The best ferries are Caen and St Malo (Brittany Ferries)
- Calais and the Eurotunnel should be avoided unless you are prepared to break your journey
- Autoroutes should be used wherever possible and cost about 40 euros from the coast
- The best route is via Bordeaux (cutting down through Angouleme takes much longer)
- Try and avoid rush hours at Rennes, Nantes and Bordeaux – the rocades (ring roads) can get very busy indeed

- Travel to Montpon-Ménésterol from Bordeaux St-Jean (52 minutes direct)
